Firefighters in South Arlington battled an apartment fire on one of the hottest days so far in 2012.
Investigators are trying to find the cause of a fast moving blaze at the River Oaks Apartments.
The flames broke out Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the 4900 block of Tree Crest Drive near I-20.
Firefighters said the fire started in a second story apartment. It was contained to two units. The American Red Cross DFW said an additional four units have smoke and water damage.
In a Twitter message, the Red Cross said that it will be helping 15 people "with a new start" after the fire.
No one was injured. The temperature hit 94 degrees at the time of the fire.
