Police say suspect fled on foot, but was caught

Arlington Crash Seriously Injures One

A crash in Arlington left one person seriously injured Thursday morning.

An Arlington intersection was closed for hours Thursday morning while police investigated a serious crash that left one person seriously injured.

According to police, alcohol may have been a factor in the crash at the intersection of Arkansas Road and Collins Street around 2:15 a.m.

Police said the suspect tried to flee the scene on foot, but was caught by police shortly after.

The victim was taken by helicopter to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition.
