Argyle police are warning residents of a phone scam involving their water bills.
Police said someone is calling residents and businesses and saying that their water bill is past due and that their water service will be turned off if they don't immediately pay by using MoneyGram.
This caller is falsely representing Argyle Water Supply and the call is a scam, police said.
Anyone who receives one of these calls should hang up and contact police.
