Argument on Roadside Leads to Hit-and-Run

Investigators searching for hit-and-run driver

A North Texas woman became a victim of hit-and-run after arguing with another woman on the side of the highway.

The 26-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, apparently got into an argument with another woman while driving down the Interstate 30 in Grand Prairie shortly before 2 a.m. Friday.

The driver stopped the car near MacArthur Boulevard and the women got out and continued arguing on the side of the road -- which is when the woman was struck.

The victim, who is from Lancaster, was transported to Methodist Hospital in Dallas and is listed in critical condition.

The driver that hit the woman did not stop.

Crash scene investigators with the Grand Prairie Police Department are working to recover evidence that they hope will lead them to the hit-and-run driver.
