American Eagle Plane Damaged During DFW Landing

An American Eagle flight had a minor emergency Friday morning after landing at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, the FAA says.

Flight 3240 out of Bryan touched down at about 7:40 a.m. and blew a tire on the right main landing gear.  The blowout damaged the wheel strut.

With the damaged wheel, passengers were deplaned on the runway and bussed to the terminal before the plane was towed to a maintenance hanger.

There were no reported injuries.
