American Eagle Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport

Smoke in the galley reported on approach to DFW

An American Eagle flight made an emergency landing at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Thursday afternoon after a pilot reported smoke in the cabin.

Flight 3052 was inbound to DFW from Waco when the pilot declared an emergency after smoke was reported in the galley.

The plane landed safely and the 47 passengers and crew of three were evacuated on the runway and placed on buses to be transported to the terminal.

Three passengers were treated at the scene for minor injuries, according to American Airlines.

The source of the smoke has not yet been revealed.
