A statewide Amber Alert issued for 15-year-old Alexis McKenzie Leigh Berry of Georgia is over after she was found safe, according to the Decatur County Sheriff's office.[[373908981,R]]
Her stepfather, Duane Dion Jason, who was wanted in connection to her abduction, is in custody.
Officials did not give details about where the pair was located.
Jaso was driving a gray 2007 Chevrolet K2500 dually pickup truck with Texas license plate GF6 3VF and was last seen near Leander, north of Austin.
The alert was issued by the Texas Division of Emergency Management at about 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.
