Agents Raid Trophy Club Home in Child Exploitation Case

Police and federal agents surrounded a home in Trophy Club early Tuesday morning as part of a federal child exploitation investigation.

Neighbors report hearing loud and bangs and seeing dozens of law enforcement representatives enter the house at the corner of Alamosa Drive and Shasta Drive before sunrise.

According to the Trophy Club Police Facebook page, the department assisted U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement as well as U.S. Homeland Security in executing a warrant on one of the residents at the home.

Neighbors passing by the home said they were shocked to hear of the investigation in the normally quiet area.

Jasmine Paul, who was leaving the home late Tuesday afternoon, said she was the employer of the man who was the target of the investigation, whom she called "Jayce." Paul said the man had issues in the past but did not believe he could have done anything related to these charges.

"It's just not like him, not at all. I know people live secret lives and things like that, but not this one," said Paul.

She also said the agents had arrested Jayce and seized his phone, and that the rest of the family who was inside during the raid was shocked at what transpired.

Investigators have not confirmed any arrests or seizures from the incident, nor have they confirmed the name of the investigation target or how they are related to the exploitation of a child case.

A representative for the town said Tuesday afternoon that they were working with the agencies and hope to release more information in the coming days.
