An American Airlines flight had to return to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Tuesday night after a warning light popped up shortly after takeoff.

Flight 1862 had just departed DFW for St. Louis when a warning light indicated an issue with the landing gear.

The plane returned to the airport and landed safely.

Passengers were put on another plane which departed for St. Louis shortly before 10 a.m., about three hours after their initial departure.
