An American Airlines flight from DFW Airport to Seattle was diverted to Boise this afternoon after the pilot reported an engine out.

A spokeswoman for the Boise Airport told NBC affiliate KTVB-TV that the MD-80 aircraft with 141 passengers and crew onboard -- landed safely and without incident.

Those 141 passengers are now in the process of being rebooked on other airlines to get them to Seattle.

The spokeswoman told KTVB-TV American Airlines is flying another M-D-80 aircraft to Boise.

That plane will have parts and mechanics on board to fix the aircraft stranded in Boise.

American Airlines is based in Fort Worth, Texas.
