A deadly crash involving eight vehicles on Interstate 35W in Itasca shut down the roadway for hours Friday night.
The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. on the northbound lanes of I-35W at mile marker five. A total of eight vehicles were involved in the crash, including one tractor trailer.
One person is dead.
Several others have been flown to hospitals in Fort Worth.
Authorities shut down the northbound lanes of I-35W spanning five miles north of Hillsboro.
