8 Injured in Crash in Fort Worth

Three adults were injured in a major crash in North Fort Worth Thursday afternoon.

Multiple ambulances were called to the scene along West Bond Ranch Road, where as many as eight people were believed to have been injured in a crash involving a Honda SUV and a Dodge pickup.

The driver of the pickup told NBC 5 that someone in front of him slammed on their brakes and that he swerved to avoid them.

Three adults were hospitalized with serious, but non life-threatening, injuries.  There were children riding in at least one of the vehicles, though none were seriously injured; all of whom were treated and released at the scene.

NBC 5's Scott Gordon contributed to this report.
