6 With Ties to Fort Worth Gang Indicted in Child Sex Trafficking Conspiracy

Authorities said six people have been charged in a sex trafficking conspiracy involving several underage girls.

According to the indictment, the six people — most with ties to the Polywood Crips street gang in Fort Worth — recruited, forced and threatened young girls to engage in sex acts for money from June of 2013 through July of 2016.

Several of the victims — who had ads posted on backpage.com — said they were told to charge for sex acts and forced to give all the money they received to their "pimps," according to a statement issued by U.S. Attorney John R. Parker. The victims said they complied out of fear of being assaulted.

Authorities said they arrested 24-year-old Chad "Ocho Hood Fame" Johnson, 32-year-old Diwone "Pooh" Nobles and 29-year-old Audry "Spud" Lane and charged them with sex trafficking of children, sex trafficking through force and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking Deon "Spanish Fly" Bonner, 26, and 24-year-old Stanley "Pee Wee" Johnson were each charged with two counts of sex trafficking of children and one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.

The statement indicated that 24-year-old Katelyn Michelle "KD" Ward was also charged with one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.

Alvin "Spank" Lane pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of children.

Sisters Jessica, 23, and 28-year-old Serrah "Kristen" Arnold each pleaded guilty to one count of use of a facility of interstate commerce in aid of a racketeering enterprise.

Most of the people involved were arrested July 21 after an operation conducted by special agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, Fort Worth police and the U.S. Marshals Service.

If convicted, each count in the indictment carries a maximum penalty of life in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
