5 Treated After School Bus Crash in Tarrant County

MedStar officials said five people were treated for injury after a crash involving a school bus in Fort Worth Tuesday morning. [[401277115,C]]

The bus was headed to Brewer High School when it was involved in a crash with another vehicle near the intersection of West Loop 820 and Clifford Street at about 7:45 a.m., according to White Settlement Independent School District spokeswoman Desiree Coyle.

White Settlement police spokesman Cpl. Jason Carter said the bus driver apparently turned onto eastbound Clifford Street and was struck by a vehicle heading west. No tickets were issued.

Authorities said three students and the driver on the bus were assessed by paramedics. One person was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in good condition.

One person in the other vehicle was transported to a hospital for observation.

White Settlement ISD police transported the remaining two students to school.
