Arrest Made After 3 Wounded in Shooting at Dallas Nightclub

Dallas police have arrested one person in connection with a triple-shooting at a nightclub Friday night.

Saturday morning police said 31-year-old Aaron Brewer has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a controlled substance in connection with the shooting at the Thrive Club on the 1000 block of Elm Street.

Witnesses said Brewer and another person got into an argument prior to the shooting and that they saw him run away after hearing the gunfire. A short time later police located both Brewer and a weapon.

Injured were 21-year-old Eduardo Masagua, who was shot in the back, and two other people, both 25, who were hit in the ankle and wrist.  All were transported to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas for treatment.

All injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police said other charges against Brewer are pending.
