3 Richardson Teens Hurt, 1 Killed in Car Wreck

A Richardson teenager is dead, after a one-car accident Tuesday on Plano Road in Richardson.

The Dallas Medical Examiner confirmed that 16 year-old Robert Tucker died in the wreck.

Tucker was a passenger in a white Ford Explorer Sport Trac, when the driver of the vehicle lost control and flipped it into a tree.

Three other boys, all teenagers, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Tucker was a junior at Berkner High School, where he was a member of the Varsity Men, a men's cheer team at the school, his friends said.

Several other cheerleaders showed up to the scene of the wreck. They said Tucker always had a smile on his face.

"He was so sweet, and he always had something nice to say about everyone and he did not deserve this at all," said Caroline Moon. "Everybody loved Robert. Everyone did. He was the greatest guy. He was so sweet. I mean, there's nothing not to love about him. He's so great."

Investigators have not said whether speed was a factor or what caused the accident.
