2nd Person Barricades Self in Fort Worth

Fort Worth police at the scene of a person barricaded inside a residence.

Fort Worth police have arrested a suspect peacefully after a man barricaded himself inside a home Thursday afternoon.

Officers were trying to serve an arrest warrant on the 4900-block of Vega Court, north of Interstate 20 and east of Granbury Road, when the man barricaded himself inside.

Police have not yet revealed the man's identity or why he was wanted.

This is the second person to have barricaded himself Thursday while officers served an arrest warrant. The first incident, on the 6000-block of Boca Raton, ended peacefully at about the same time.
