25th Annual Asian Festival Draws Big Crowds

The 25th Annual Asian Festival drew big crowds to Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas Saturday.

More than 20 Asian countries were represented at the event organized by the Dallas Area Asian American Chamber of Commerce and the Crow Collection.

Organizers say it is important to highlight the cultures of one of the Metroplex's fastest growing groups.

"We're so proud of the growth and expansion of the Asian community in Dallas and the Metroplex," Rosa Oh from the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce said.

"And we definitely want to showcase all of them this year."

Over thirty entertainers and various arts booths sought the bring the tastes, sounds, and sights of Asia. Assorted food trucks and vendors also offered authentic asian cuisines.
