200 Dogs Rescued from Texas Puppy Mill

A cage full of border collies rest under the shade of a tarp as they wait to be caged after the Marion County Humane Society shut down a puppy mill operation Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Jefferson, Texas. The owner of the home only visited the property only on the weekends. 200 dogs some in cages and some roaming the 25 acre property will be treated by local or volunteer vets or will be transported to locations outside of Marion County for treatment.
