2 Stabbed to Death Outside North Texas Skating Rink

Greenville fight leaves several others injured

Two people were stabbed to death and several were wounded in a fight early Saturday outside a North Texas roller skating rink, officials said.

Greenville city spokeswoman Autumn Barton said Ljorian Marquis Harris and Darrius Diondre Hubbard were killed in the parking lot of Skate Safari Saturday morning.

While police are continuing to investigate the murders, an arrest warrant has been issued for Heriberto Borrego in connection with Harris' death.

Borrego is a hispanic male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is five-feet, six-inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He is a Greenville resident.

Crimestoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to Borrego's arrest.

An argument started inside Skate Safari during a private party and spilled outside, according to Barton. Police received a call around 3 a.m. Saturday about the disturbance, and another caller reported multiple stabbings.

"It started as some type of scuffle and turned into something more severe," said Barton, who adding she had no details on what prompted the dispute. "I'm not sure if it was verbal at first or if it was physical."

Several other people were hurt, but Barton did not have a specific number. The survivors were hospitalized in varying conditions, Barton said, but she did not elaborate.

A message left Saturday at Skate Safari wasn't immediately returned.

Greenville is about 50 miles northeast of Dallas.

NBC 5's Holley Ford contributed to this reported.
