The driver of a semitrailer was injured in a wreck with another semi on Interstate 35E in Dallas Thursday morning, according to authorities.[[301802331,C]]
Dallas police said the driver of a semi rear-ended another semitrailer on southbound I-35E near East Wheatland Road just before 5 a.m.
The driver of the first semi was trapped for 20 minutes until crews cut him out, police said. He had broken bones and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The other driver was not hurt.
The two right lanes of I-35E were closed while crews cleared the wreckage and a large amount of fuel that spilled onto the road.
