Two women are hospitalized in critical condition after a fire broke out Friday afternoon at a house in southeast Fort Worth.
The fire was reported at about 3 p.m. in the 4300 block of Martin Street, and firefighters located the women, ages 90 and 65 years old, unconscious and unresponsive inside, officials said.
Medics began CPR on one of the women at the scene before crews transported both to John Peter Smith Hospital.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
