Two people have died following a crash Friday evening just west of the Design District in Dallas.
Emergency crews were called at about 7:30 p.m. to the crash near the intersection of Irving Boulevard and Wycliff Avenue, just north of the Sylvan Avenue bridge across the Trinity River.
A Dallas police spokesperson said a Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling eastbound on Irving Boulevard at a high rate of speed and appears to have struck the curb and a small guardrail, causing the driver to lose control and collide into a Ford F-150.
