Authorities said a man and woman were injured in a crash that followed a police chase in Dallas County Monday morning.
Dallas County Sheriff's deputies said they pursued a Hyundai Sonata that reached speeds of 130 mph on westbound Interstate 30.
The chase ended when the driver of the Hyundai struck a utility pole and crashed into a gate in the 1700 block of West Commerce Street at about 3 a.m.
Authorities said a man and a woman in the vehicle were transported to hospitals with injuries that were not life threatening.
Sheriff's deputies said they initially tried to pull the vehicle over for a routine traffic stop.
