Police say Ronald Bernard Brown opened fire on 46-year-old Tracy Evans and 26-year-old Felicia Jones at a home on the 2700 block of Millmar Drive at about 4:30 p.m.

Right after the shooting, the grandfather of the suspect told investigators that he lived at the home with the victims.

Police said the man was arguing with the women and asked them to leave his home. Police said Brown then became involved in the situation as it escalated, is believed to have fatally shot both women before running from the home, police said.

Officers said Brown was last seen in a blue Dodge Caliber with Texas license plates CXN-7974.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Dallas police homicide detectives at 214-671-3584.

While investigators remained at the home for several hours after the shooting Monday, concerned neighbors gathered less than a block away and expressed disbelief over the double fatal shooting.

"It's scary. I mean, we moved over here thinking it's a great neighborhood, schools, parks, everything over here. So it's just a little alarming, especially with little ones," said neighbor Kathy Ramirez.

"I don't like it. I'm scared, because you never know what's going to happen," said neighbor Sandy Blue.
