An equipment accident at an under-construction park-and-ride transit site in the Dallas area left two workers dead and two injured.
Denton County Transportation Authority president James Cline says construction will be suspended at the Lewisville site as long as necessary during the investigation into Thursday's deadly accident.
DCTA spokesperson Dee Leggett says the boom on a concrete pumping truck collapsed onto the four workers. Leggett says the two injured workers suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to hospitals. Their names and conditions were not immediately released.
Names of the two workers who died also were not immediately available.
The accident happened around 5:15 a.m. Thursday in Lewisville, about 20 miles northwest of Dallas.
