Police say a head-on collision left two people dead and an infant seriously injured near Princeton in Collin County Saturday evening.[[364803141,R]]
According to police, the driver of a Honda sedan was traveling west on Farm to Market Road 3364 near County Road 876. At about 7:40 p.m., the driver lost control and slid into the eastbound lane, striking an oncoming Chevrolet pickup truck.
The driver of the Honda, as well as a female passenger were killed in the crash. An infant child in the Honda was taken to Medical Center of McKinney with serious injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was not seriously injured, but was taken to a hospital as a precaution, according to police.
Investigators said it was not immediately clear what caused the wreck, but the investigation was ongoing.
