Dallas police said two officers in two squad cars were involved in a minor crash on Interstate 30 Thursday morning.
Police said the officers were slowing traffic and blocking lanes for a construction crew on eastbound I-30 near Riverfront Drive just before the crash.
One of the officers "failed to control speed," according to police, and crashed into the other officer's squad car at about 3:15 a.m.
Both officers refused medical treatment at the scene.
The squad cars were towed from the scene.
