A person has been arrested after a chase that spanned two counties involving a stolen van ended Thursday afternoon near the Southern Methodist University campus.
The pursuit started just before 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Royce City in Rockwall County. It moved onto westbound Interstate 30 near Dalrock Road into Dallas County and eventually onto North Central Expressway/Highway 75 at Mockingbird Lane.
The driver of the van stopped in a parking lot just 75 near SMU and reportedly took off on foot. The driver was taken into custody by DPS officers a short time later.
No injuries were reported.
