Police said they arrested two men after a crash following a brief chase in Garland Sunday night. [[320487142,C]]
An officer tried to pull over a black Nissan Maxima for reckless driving on Northwest Highway near Interstate 635 just after 7 p.m., Garland Police Department spokesman Joe Harn said.
Harn said the driver of the Maxima fled, but crashed into another vehicle about 4 miles later on Northwest Highway near Audelia Road.
Police said they arrested the driver, Miguel Angel Hernandez-Velazquez, for evading and misdemeanor warrants out of Carrollton.
Officers also arrested the passenger, Erick Martinez, for public intoxication.
No injuries were reported.
