Two 18-wheelers were involved in a crash that shut down Interstate 45 in Dallas late Wednesday night. [[362764771,C]]
The two 18-wheelers caught fire after crashing into each other on the northbound lanes of I-45 near Simpson Stuart Road just before midnight.
There is no word yet on the condition of the drivers.
As of 5 a.m., only the shoulder is open to drivers. There is no word yet when additional lanes will reopen.
The cause of the crash has not yet been released.
