Kaufman County investigators have arrested and charged a man in Crandall with possession of marijuana.

David Martin Samson, 48, had more than 111 pot plants growing in his bedroom, according to police.

If given the time to mature, that many plants would yield over two pounds of usable product, per plant, with an estimated street value of $150,000, according to narcotics investigators.

A tip led authorities to Samson’s home on the 4000 block of North Farm-to-Market Road 148. His bond is set at $5,000.
