A 10-year-old child was rushed to a Fort Worth hospital Friday evening after being struck by a vehicle.
The girl was hit at about 8 p.m. in the 8000 block of Cannonwood Drive.
Officials said the driver stopped to help render aid to the child at the scene before medics arrived.
The girl was then transported to Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth in serious condition with a leg injury.
Given the location and the time, officials said children were likely in the area for Halloween, but further details on the situation haven't been released.
