Authorities with MedStar said they were called to a home in the 7100 block of Wagonwheel Road in Fort Worth on Sunday afternoon after a report of a 1-year-old's drowning.
MedStar said in a tweet that the girl was awake and breathing while being taken to Cook Children's Medical Center.
No further information was immediately released.
An 18-year-old woman died of her injuries after being pulled from the Brazos River in Hood County Saturday. Also in the holiday weekend, a 3-year-old girl nearly drowned in the 7700 block of Summerbrook Circle in Fort Worth.
Sunday's incident would be the 41 drowning case in Texas.
