A woman has critical injuries after a shooting Monday in south Fort Worth, medics say.
Fort Worth police said two groups of people had been fighting at an unknown location and then moved to the 5300 block of Whitten Street, where they said an unknown person pulled out a gun and shot the victim once.[[322744131,L]]
The victim, an adult female, was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital, according to MedStar.
Investigators were speaking with people at the scene and did not immediately have further information.
