A person died after a crash and subsequent fall from an Interstate 20 overpass Thursday night in southwestern Tarrant County, authorities said.[[295356951,L]]
Fort Worth police said officers saw a vehicle lose control and spin out on the eastbound I-20 bridge above Aledo Road near Benbrook.
The driver then got out of his car, lost his footing and fell about 60 feet from the overpass to railroad tracks below.
A second person who was in the vehicle was evaluated for possible injuries from the crash.
Further details have not yet been released, including the identity of the man who fell.
The cause of the crash and the circumstances that followed remain under investigation.
