1 Dead After Triple-Vehicle Crash in Frisco

Frisco police say a man is dead and two others wounded after triple-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene at 3:34 p.m. Saturday in the area of Farm to Market Road 423 and Main Street in Frisco.

According to police, investigators found the driver of a Ford Escape crossed the median of F.M. 423 and hit a Volkswagen Jetta. A third vehicle, a Ford Edge, crashed into the Jetta, police said.

The driver of the Volkswagen Jetta, identified as 64-year-old Thomas Aring of Dallas, was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Drivers of the Escape and Edge both had minor injuries, police said.

Investigators were working to find the cause of the crash.
