Police said one person was killed and two others were injured when two vehicles were involved in a collision in Azle Monday evening. [[368927561,C]]
Authorities said a pickup truck and an SUV collided in the 12000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 730 North at about 5:45 p.m. The occupant of the SUV died at the scene, according to Azle Police Chief Rick Pippins.
A woman and a child in the pickup truck were transported to John Peter Smith Hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
Traffic was routed around the crash scene for several hours, according to police.
