A man is dead and a woman is seriously injured after they were pinned in a vehicle that wrecked early Wednesday morning, police said.
Witnesses told officers that the red Kia was traveling at a high speed and left the roadway in the 3400 block of Lemmon Avenue near Turtle Creek at about 4:45 a.m., police said.
Police said they found the two passengers pinned inside the vehicle, which was on its side against a tree.
Officials said the man was dead when firefighters arrived and the woman was taken to a nearby hospital. Her condition is not yet known.
Northbound Lemmon Avenue was closed, but one lane has since re-opened.
