1 Arrested, 2 At Large After Chase in Denton County

Police said they chased four men in a stolen vehicle in Denton County Friday morning.

Denton County sheriff's deputies said they responded to a vehicle burglary call in Providence Village and saw a car speeding away from the scene. The deputies checked its license plates, which indicated it had been stolen.

Deputies pursued the vehicle east on U.S. 380 and then south on Farm-to-Market Road 720. The vehicle crashed on Oak Grove Parkway in Little Elm.

Three passengers left the car and ran from the scene, authorities said. As of 10 a.m., they remain at large.

The teenage driver stayed in the car after hitting his head. Deputies said he was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries.

It is not yet known if the vehicle deputies chased was the stolen vehicle from the initial 911 call.

NBC 5's Anthony Kiekow contributed to this report.
