Dallas Police Association Custom Smoker Stolen Friday Night

A custom smoker used by the Dallas Police Association for fundraisers was stolen Friday night according to Vice President Fred Frazier.

Surveillance video shows 2 people cutting through the fence where the smoker was stored and then hooking up the 20-foot cooker to a truck and driving away.

The custom smoker is valued at $10,000 and is often used for fundraisers for fallen officers, their families and was most recently used to help raise money for a fallen Dallas firefighter.

The smoker was just a few weeks old when it was stolen and had only been used for two events so far. The smoker was being stored at the Dallas Police Association's building at 1412 Griffin Street in Dallas.

On Saturday morning, an employee noticed the equipment was missing.  A reward is being offered and anyone with information on the missing smoker is being asked to call (214)-549-4918.

The building where the smoker was stolen from is also clearly marked as a facility for police.
