Two men were shot while driving on Stemmons Freeway just before 3 AM this morning.

The two victims were taken to Parkland Hospital where the driver died, and his passenger is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The pair were travelling southbound on Stemmons Freeway between Walnut Hill Lane and Royal Lane when another car pulled alongside them and opened fire.

Dallas Police are still investigating and hope to get a description of the suspect vehicle from the surviving victim.

The name of the deceased man has not been released at this time. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
