Texas drivers who have not paid delinquent fees owed to the Texas Department of Transportation may want to act quickly.

TxDOT is offering to reduce violation fees by as much as 90 percent if the fee is paid by Nov. 30.

After the deadline passes, amnesty ends and TxDOT will head to court in order to collect the delinquent fees.  That will, undoubtedly, mean even more fees passed on to drivers who have not made good on their debt.

The offer applies only to toll roads managed by TxDOT and not those managed by the NTTA.
