The Hands-Free Way of Avoiding Bathroom Door Germs

A North Texas man has come up with a door handle that opens the door without touching a germy handle.
Kelly Martin, of Hands Free Concepts, is testing his Sani-Handle in Twin Peaks restaurants.
"Their chefs and cooks go in there and wash their hands, they aren't recontaminated, and that's a big selling point to restaurants," he said.
The Sani-Handle, which costs $249 per door handle, lets people use their wrists instead of their hands to open doors.
"I think it was very smart," said one Twin Peaks diner.
The devices can even help keep bathrooms clean by cutting down on the number of people who use paper towels to avoid touching door handles.
"They are using the paper towels, throwing them on the floor," Martin said.
