A high school senior told police a fake officer stopped her in East Dallas and frisked her Saturday night.
The 17-year-old told police that an unmarked car with a flashing light on top pulled up behind her on Jim Miller Road as she approach the light at Samuel Boulevard before 10 p.m.
She said the man was in his 30s with a goatee and spiked hair and wore a dark shirt with patches that looked like a uniform.
Her mother, Vickie Blankson, said her daughter became convinced he was not a real officer after he ordered her out of her car.
“She said he pushed her into the car and started frisking her and checking her and feeling her up and down,” Blankson said. “She knew then that she was in trouble.”
The girl said she ran away and the man followed her at first, but then left. She said she then went back to her car and drove home to call police.
“I want to see him caught,” Blankson said.

A spokesman said Dallas police rarely make traffic stops with unmarked vehicles. If they do make such a stop, the officer's car will have many flashing lights, not just one.
‘This could be an individual that’s in a car that resembles a police car, a security vehicle,” Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse said. “He could have been in a security uniform that resembles a police officer.”
Janse said male Dallas officers are not allowed to search women.
He said people stopped by police can drive to a populated area before pulling over and can also call 911 to verify it is a real traffic stop.
“If it is a legitimate police officer, he’ll follow you and he’ll understand when he does get up to your car,” Janse said.
