A Dozen North Texas Schools Return to Class

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says it is no longer recommending that schools be closed because of suspected swine flu cases since the virus has turned out to be milder than initially feared.
Here is a list of schools that will re-open this week.
Opening Thursday, May 7
- Chico ISD
- Denton ISD
- Kennedale ISD
- Lake Dallas ISD
- Lake Worth ISD
- Lewisville ISD
- Paradise ISD
- Perrin-Whitt ISD
- Ponder ISD
- Slidell ISD
- Springtown ISD
- Winfree Academy
Opening Friday, May 8
- Fort Worth ISD
Opening Monday, May 11
- Alvord ISD
- Azle ISD
- Bridgeport ISD
- Cleburne ISD
- Fort Worth Can Academy
- Kaufman ISD
- Northlake Elementary (Richardson ISD)
- Waterford Oaks Elementary (Cedar Hill ISD)
