A raid by Secret Service agents in southwest Fort Worth turned up more than just counterfeit money.

Federal agents raided a residence on the 3000 block of Meadowmoor looking for siblings Jack Taylor Jr., 25, and Amy Taylor, 29. Both siblings were wanted on suspicion of passing counterfeit $100 and $50 bills at a local Walmart and were arrested without incident.

During the raid, agents discovered counterfeiting paraphernalia and a semi-automatic assault rifle mounted on a tripod facing outside a bedroom window.

They also found what appeared to be three explosive devices, canisters packed with flash power and fuses, police said. Investigators said one of the explosive devices was packed with shrapnel and BBs and was big enough to kill.

As a precaution, nearby residents were evacuated.

"They got everybody out of the house set up a perimeter and called the bomb squad," police Lt. Paul Henderson said.

Fort Worth police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms arrived to remove the devices. The Fort Worth bomb squad determined the devices posed no immediate threat.

Neighbors said they were stunned.

"I guess I didn't know them as well as I thought I did," neighbor Corey Dhanji said.

She said brother and sister were "sweet, wonderful people."

The siblings are now being held in the Fort Worth jail. Authorities said they will face federal charges that could come as early as Wednesday.
