Grief counselors are expected at Little Elm High School Monday after the weekend death of student Kara Taylor.

Taylor was killed early Sunday when a driver going the wrong way on the Dallas North Tollway hit her car head-on.

Mariza Martinez, 24, was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of the tollway near Cotton Gin when her car struck Taylor's, police said.  Taylor died a short time later at a nearby hospital.

Taylor's friends said she was on her way home from listening to her favorite band play when the crash happened.

News of the teen's death spread quickly through Little Elm, where friends and classmates held a candlelight vigil Sunday evening.

The police have not yet filed charges against Martinez.  The investigation continues and officials said they are awaiting the results of a toxicology test.
