Homeless Man Guilty In Death of Woman Who Fed Him

A homeless man accused of fatally stabbing a woman who had fed him has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty.
John William Franks was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty last week. The 28-year-old would be eligible for parole after 30 years.
Gladys Price was found dead in her home in 2007. Her body was found hidden under her bed, and investigators suspected robbery was the motive.
Investigators say Price used to move furniture and help Price with laundry in exchange for meals. The petite 56-year-old woman was in poor health and could not work.
