Grief Counselors on Hand After Teen Dies in North Fort Worth Crash

Police said they are looking into whether a 17-year-old driver was racing another car when he crashed near Eagle Mountain Lake on Friday afternoon.

Police said Cameron Jeansonne lost control of his vehicle and hit another car in the 5400 block of Boat Club Road.

Jeansonne died at the scene, the 52-year-old woman in the other car was taken to JPS Hospital by air ambulance.

Witnesses told police Jeansonne may have been racing a black vehicle just before the accident.

Jeansonne was a junior at Boswell High School and played Junior Varsity football.

Grief counselors were at the high school Saturday and will be on hand when students return from the Thanksgiving break.
